My favourite of all the trends this year will be discussed today. Starting in the 1960s, the jumpsuit has made occasional appearances in common and high fashion (particularly in the 1980s), but has never been a common item of everyday wear. Maybe until today. I mean we’ve been wearing rompers and baby’s one-pieces when we were little. But I don’t remember such a fashion capture by jumpsuits so far. Lately we see celebrities wearing them as formal and casual apparel like Stella McCartney, Eva Longoria, Vanessa Hudgens, Chloe Sevigny and many more. We also saw designers showing fabulous jumpsuits on the runways: Ralph Lauren, Proenza Schouler, Thakoon. So I guess you don’t need any more persuasion that “one-pieces” are super trendy this year.
I’ve always liked baggy pants and wearing jumpsuits as a comfy loungewear. But I am so much liking it as a formal too. After all if you wear a stylish and elegant jumpsuit that’s hugging your curves in a sexy way, all you need are some fashion accessories and hot shoes. And with the matching is much easier. Jumpsuit is pretty much like a dress but more comfortable, at least I’ve always felt better in pants than in a skirt…

I love the blue one – it is simply stunning! Now I am jealous at all you, UK people!!! Did you see something like this to be offered by the US online stores??? NO! The baggy design is just the one I admire when it comes to jumpers.
