What do you think about reviewing another Spring 2010 trend? And probably you can guess from the pictures below – I am totally talking about lingerie apparel! This trend was on the runaways all the time, taking part in absolutely every designer’s collection. The outfits I liked the most are from Christian Dior Spring 2010 fashion collection. I love Dior when it comes to “red carpet gowns”, but this year minimalistic pieces were also fabulous! And for the first time I am actually admiring the matching of socks and heels. But see how beautiful and feminine it looks – both outfits are perfect. The colors, designs, the combination of all – everything speaks simplicity and perfectionism. Totally in love with light materials and amazing finishing touches.

When talking about the lingerie trend there are two variations: using lingerie as outerwear or the “visible underwear” which means wearing transparent or very loose tops and dresses so that we expose bras/panties. I am a fan of the first way of rocking the trend – wearing a corset as a top or light satin dress is sexy and provocative and at the same time feminine. But when it comes to showing off underwear I think it’s a little too much and looks kind-a trashy. But if that’s the desired effect – why not?
